The Light of Christ Ministries (LCM) began its journey in 1996 under the divine leading of Pastor Bowaazi Kalule John, who is also the Senior Pastor and Director of the ministry. The ministry was birthed out of a God-given burden to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple believers, and bring spiritual renewal to communities. In its early years, the church started as a small fellowship of believers who gathered consistently for prayer, worship, and the teaching of the Word of God. Through dedication, perseverance, and reliance on the Holy Spirit, the ministry steadily grew in number and influence. Light of Christ Ministries became known as a place of healing, restoration, and spiritual empowerment. Over the years, the ministry has supported and reached out to different people across various parts of the country, ministering to those with spiritual, emotional, and social challenges. Through evangelism, discipleship, and community outreach, the church has continued to provide hope and transformation to individuals, families, and entire communities. Today, the church stands as a vibrant and growing Christian ministry committed to glorifying God and raising believers who are spiritually grounded, morally upright, and purpose-driven. The ministry continues to expand its leadership through trained church leaders, Sunday School teachers, and ministry workers who serve wholeheartedly under the guidance of the Senior Pastor and the Directorate.
